Berlin Classic Problems

I've been running my Berlin Classic for 5 months now and it's been getting good foam. Now I hardly get anything and I don't think it is because my water is clean. My fish are quite wasteful . I noticed there are hardly any bubbles in the middle chamber. The screw to regulate the airflow is unscrewed too. Can anyone diagnose this problem? What could be some possible solutions? I was thinking that little rubber tube that stems from the "venturi" I think. I'm not sure. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks In Advance!

On my tubro the air line would get salt in and get pluged up take your line off and look could be the venturi too

Changes in water chemistry can suddenly affect this skimmer efficiency. Clean it and it's pump (including venturi) if you still didn't and let him run for few days.

Ok.. Just so I have this right. I should clean the venturi (part where pump hose meets skimmer and air intake tube. That should be it right... or are there other areas?

check your pump, my berlin use to go thru alot of pump till I bought a big one. pull your air line off and check it ,it will be putting very little out. or take the cover off your pump and inspect it. (air pump) good luck

Don't know if you're still watching this subject or not. I'm new here to this forum and have found it very helpful. I own one of the classics and recently upgraded it to the turbo. You need to remove the inlet pipe and pull the venturi out using the venturi key or large screwdriver. This seemed to clog up on mine about every 6 months also to where there was no bubbles being produced. Also clean out the air inlet tube at the bottom (where the air line connects to) quite often to get best results.
If you really want that thing to work nice think about upgrading to the turbo pump. Like the other guy said all you have to clean out is the air inlet at the pump then and it's easier to maintain.
