berlin skimmers

I'm working on setting up a 44g hex corner tank, and I've been thinking about which skimmer to get. Seems like a lot of people recommed the berlin skimmers. I did some pricing and research, and I've read that some people are having problems with them... specifically with the impeller. Anyone here having any probs with the berlin skimmers? Are they still the best skimmers around?

i just got my new berlin turbo skimmer last week and put it on a new farm tank of mine. i love it!! i think it was well worth the 200 bucks. it has pulled out so much gunk, and its anly been a week now!! i highly reccomend this skimmer to ANYONE!

I've had my berlin for almost a year now, and other than all the tinkering I had to do to it during the break-in time, it's been a great skimmer. I would buy another if I had another tank, and needed one.

I have the berlin classic and it does a great job.

I have been running one of my Rerlin Skimmers now for over four years and i have had no problems with it. My most recient one that I bought for another tank was the Berlin Turbo it works better then the normal Berlin, it is worth the extra few $.
