Berlin XL Protein Skimmer

is a Berlin XL Protein Skimmer worth 50 bucks, just as a temporary fix? i know most people dont think too highly of them, but, are they at least on the higher end of suck? thanks.

I like my berlin skimmer. not the best ever sure but definatly more effective than not having one.

it doesnt come with a pump, so ill have to buy that.

Do yourself a favor and buy a pump bigger than what it calls for.....That is a problem with that skimmer IMO
