best anemone for ocelaris

What is the best anemone to buy for a pair of ocelaris clowns to host. I don't have the clowns yet and wanted to have the anmeone in the tank and going good before I put the clowns in. All coments welcome and thank you.

Depends on the clowns that you have. If they are true (not tank raised) then they will do fine in any Long tentical, bubble tip, or carpet. If they are tank raised and false, then you will be hard pressed to have them host anything.
My percs host my Torch, Sebae and Hammer.

So I should get wild clowns? I was thinking of getting two false percs.

Ocellaris clowns will host in a Heteractis magnifica and Stichodactyla gigantea .
Tank raised do seem to be reluctant to host , but it is still in their genes to do so and is very possible . On occasion they will host in BTAs . I believe most Ocellaris clowns available these days in LFS are all tank raised , but can order wild caught from many web sites .

Heteractis seem to be a favorite but are VERY hard to keep. They must have halides, perfect water and alot of flow. They are gorgeous but you have to babysit them.
