Best bet to stop ick?

Hi all.
I recently moved 400 miles and brought my 55g tank with me. Its been about 3 weeks since I made the move, and until today everything has been great. unfrotunately I just noticed my long nosed butterfly and one of my deep sea chromis covered in ick. I'm setting up a hospital tank tomorrow, and wanted to get some input on what to do. I have tons of invertabrates and a few soft corals in the main tank, so I can't do any treatment in there.
Should I remove all my fish from my tank and allow all the ick in the tank to die off? or should I just remove the butterfly and chromis?
Also, should I opt for lowering the salinity or use medication? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The best route to treat ich would have to be hypo... Remove the butterfly and the cromis and place them into your hospital tank, start hypo on them ASAP, I would leave the other fish in the main tank unless they too come down with the ich. :D

Thanks for the input. I was pretty sure i had to get them all out to make sure the ick in the main tank dies off. How long of a life span does ick have? Also, how fast should I drop the salinity?
Thanks again for all the help.
