Best filtration system for a 90 gal

I'm getting ready to buy a 90 gal tank and I'd like to know what would be the best total filtration system. I'm not too concerned about money, I'd rather buy a few things at a time and get good stuff than skimp. Oh yeah, I'm thinking an aggressive FOWLR (LS too I think). Not sure if DSB is best... I really want to do it right....

Look into the sump setups. They are really the only way to go in a large tank. Especially if you are going with agressive fish. Also,a sand bed is better with messy eaters than CC....

Are sump setups easy to do? Where could I get some detailed info about how to set up and care for? I'm getting an acrylic tank, should I get built in overflow? the guy at the lfs says it's better, but I'm not sure...
Thanks!

A sump is a pretty basic system. It's really just a small tank under the main tank that also houses your heater, skimmer and any other equiptment that you dont want to see in the main tank. If you are getting an acrylic tank then a built in overflow is the best way to go.There are many manufactyrers out there, but I like the CPR(creative plastic resurch)line.Tide pool also makes a nice, and a lot cheaper, setup.

Right now I'm looking at a tru vu... are they good? Should I have a skimmer as well? LR/LS seems to make sense also... what do you think?

Oh yeah, can you buy a sump type system or do you have to create it? I'd have know clue what all to buy and the correct way to put together...

You can buy them pre-made, or some people make their own. They are pretty basic to hook up. one line from overflow to sump, and one line from the pump, back to the tank. Just make sure to get one rated higher than your tank size. Then you'll have plenty of filtration, and room for skimmer, heater, UV, or whatever else you dont want in your tank. Mr. Salty has some good pics of his setup, it's nice :D . If you need some pics of a less complicated setup, E-mail me and, I'll send you some of mine(nuthin' fancy, just an acrylic sump, bio-balls, heater, berlin skimmer, and return pump).
