So they say...........
Sailfin Tang
(Zebrasoma veliferum)
Stats
Maximum Length: 15.6 in.
Care Level: Moderate
Family: Acanthuridae
Reef Compatibility: Excellent
Minimum Aquarium Size: 90 gal.
Range: Central & South Pacific
Diet: Herbivore- herbivore preparations, macro algae
Water Conditions: 74-80° F; sg 1.020-1.025; pH 8.1-8.4
Notes: The Sailfin Tang can make itself seem much larger by raising its large dorsal fin and lowering its anal fin. It is a graceful swimmer and will help to control growth of algae in your aquarium. Smaller individuals can be kept in smaller aquariums, however larger specimens require plenty of open swimming space and should be kept in 125 gallon or larger aquarium. The Salifin Tang is compatible with a wide range of other fishes and is a great choice for the reef aquarium. It may bicker with some other tangs at first, but will usually develop a peaceful relationship with all of its tank mates. When keeping more than one Sailfin Tang it is best to add them at the same time to a larger aquarium.
Feed a diet rich in vegetable matter including frozen herbivore foods, dried seaweed, or live macro algae.

I'd have to say that a Mexican Turbo Snail would be the best.. If I have any form of algae in my tank... even algae sheets, they are gone in less than 2 hours! I cant even put live plants in my main tank cause my turbo snails destroy it completely the next day.

I also agree with the sea hare. Theyre really cool too. But after they eat all of the algae, theyre really hard to feed. I heard on another thread, maybe last month, that there are lfs's that rent them?
