Best Lighting for a 16g

Right now I have a 16g FOWLR tank. Currently the home of 2 perc clowns and a fire shrimp. I plan on adding some corals soon. (Probably low-med light dependent ones) What kind of lighting do u think i should have? :notsure:

is that a 16 gallon bowl front? If so and you are just planning on some shrooms/zoos and other low-med light type corals i bet you could do well with a coralife 96w 50/50 PC. I have the same one for my 10 gallon and it's great! Been keeping liverock and a condylactus anenome for weeks now and the coraline is explodeing and the condi looks alot better then it did when i first got it from the lfs. Course your 16g would be a little taller but i bet you could get dang near the same results!..anyone correct me if i am wrong. Also look around diffrent websites for that PC...i have found that some websites have been selling it for half off in some cases!

Yup its a 16g bow front..thanks for the info. I'm gonna do a search on the 96w 50/50. Are mushrooms the best coral to star out with??

Hey umm..one thing i forgot to mention is that..that hood is meant to be used over a glass canopy. Last time I checked i could not find any glass canopys for either the 16 or 26g bowl fronts...good luck finding one though and if ya do lemme know where! my email is zx3_5speed@yahoo.com!

Finding a glass canopy for a bow front is a s easy as calling your local glass company. They can custom cut you one saving you time and money. Should cost about $20...
Just a thought. You can get the joint for the middle at your local
pet store, or online, and just cut it to size.
