Hey peeps... My bulbs are over 1.5 yrs old... so I'm thinking of changing them.
Question one: Will getting new bulbs have any real benefit?
I was thinking that old bulbs encourage diatom and cyano growth, but wasn't sure.
Question two: My current lighting is a coralife aqualight with 2x 96W 10000K and 2x 96W Actinic 03... if I should replace them, should I get the same bulbs? Of course I won't be growing any coral, so I just want the best bulbs to highlight the fish. What spectrum/watts/combo, etc would you all recommend???
THANKS!!!
Here are some bulbs that I've looked at: (all on sale - regular price $42.99)
1. SunPaq Actinic 460nm 96W $29.99
2. SunPaq Actinic 420nm 96W $29.99
3. SunPaq Daylight 10000ºK 96W $29.99
4. SunPaq Daylight 6700ºK 96W $29.99
5. SunPaq Dual Daylight 6700ºK/10000ºK 96W $29.99
