best LR base?

i'm going to be startng a reef tank and i just want to know what kinda of LR seems to work best for the base to put the corals on?

I have figi, vanishi, base rock and a little bit of marshall island in my tank. I really dont have a prefrence as to what is better for placing corals. Its just in the way that you do the rockscape that makes things work. Most rock atleast has one good side. If you dont like it bury it somewhere. If your going to buy hand picked prices at LFS look for rock that has uniqe shapes with little nooks and cranies that LPS coral can be crammed into (If your going that way) I perfer mushroom to be more on a flat round surface.
