Hello its time to replace bulbs
is there any diffrence between the diffrent brand names PFO,Ushio Iwisaki and other bulbs I need to buy 250 watt with a Mogul type base. What bulb is a good performer?

i prefer the aqaulines.but ushio are good

I'm very happy with my Iwasaki (250w, 6500k, mogul), and so are my critters. I've read that it puts out more usable light than most comparable halides, though I don't have any proof. Plus, they are among the cheapest halides, which is a definite bonus.

Where is best (cheapest) place to purchase online ?

i use ushios 10k. will probably go with 14k bulbs next time. just stay away from the 20k. had them for a week, didnt like it at all...
