Best Nano Tank

What is the best Nano Tank (complete with filter and lights) to purchase? Looking to get something that can sit on a desktop (7 gallonish) for rock, easy corals and 2-3 small fish.
Don't want to spend $5100 on this set up.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure nano cubes come in a 6G, they have the filter, lights built into the hood. Do a internet search for JBJ nano cubes. :)

Thanks for the response. I looked at those, but I don't know if I can bring myself to pay $100 for a tank that small!!

you cant have 2-3 fish in a 7 gallon, you probably couldnt even have 1 and keep it safe.
if youre gonna go that small, id get some kind of shrimp or something and some corals

if you are going for asthetics then give it up and put a nice picture in a frame on your desk but if you dont mind it looking good but not that good i would just go with a
10 gallon from ***** ($10)
maybe a cheap 2x32watt power compact lighting (shouldnt cost more than $60)
100watt visitherm heater ($20)
2 maxijet 400's ($50)
some little filter or protein skimmer, like a hob mini penguin w/carbon filter and biowheel ($40) or a hob CPR SR2 Protein Skimmer ($100)
you can get cheaper filtration than those but usually they filter less and require tons of maintenance......anything is better than nothing. i didnt use anything but an undergravel filter for 6 months and fish got ick ...since my new filtration i have had zero problems.
TOTAL.... $200 - $250
for livestock i would go with a 2"sandbed and as much liverock as you can afford. you could safely have 2 fish(small clown and a goby), if you get a goby you must get a pistol shrimp for him....they rock. and the lighting i suggested would keep any softy(mushrooms, zoo's, polyps...unless you wanted to get into dosing kalk and then you could get away with some hard corals but care and testing would sky rocket.
rule number one with a nano.....water changes!! 10% every week, with RODI water. using tap water is like you having to breathe in a big fart all day, might not kill you but it sure would suck, wouldnt it?

as NY said a jbj nano would be your best bet for money looks and use, what you have to remember about tanks...especially a saltwater tank is even after you buy everything for your tank you still have to fork out money once a month for maintenance/upkeep. even the crazy's that have their entire tank automated(which just for the sake of saying is awesome and where im headed, ha) still have to pay a higher electric bill because of all the gadgets that takes..........so maybe that picture in a frame idea might work best for you.
