Best Nano Tank?

What's the best Nano tank to get (make/model)? I'm going to use it for my QT, and it can be a 14 or 29 gallon, if I have my demensions right. I have a 30x20 area I can have this tank on. My main tank will be 125 gallon, but the stand is being built, so I thought I would set up my QT first.

Well, it will be in an area that is very visible in my living room, so I will probably always have something in it, even if it's just a coral or two (though I know not to add coral until it's well established). Plus I want to add a Hippo Tang to my 125 gallon tank, and I'm thinking a 10 gallon tank may stress him out (even though it will only be for 4 weeks), though I do plan to buy him small. I could go with a 14 gallon I guess.

Oh, also my thinking of a 29 gallon instead of 10, is because from freshwater experience, larger is always easier. But, I'm new to saltwater, so that's whay I'm asking.

Maybe the 29 long would be good, that way you'll have a lot more length for swimming than if you went with a nano tank. You could still make a nice looking QT tank inexpensively since it will always be on display.

I want to see pics of your 125 as it progresses!
As for the "29 gallon" Biocube, it is actually about 23 gallons! Don't buy an Oceanic "Size 29" Biocube thinking you're going to have 29 gallons of room to work with! I found this out the hard way.

BTW, I did visit Aquarium Arts on Baseline. What an awesome display tank in that room off to the right of the entrance! And I loved their sting rays!

Hi AZReef Girl!
I've been thinking about you, wondering if you ever made it into that store. As you found out it's very cool!
I wish I could have a sting ray, but don't think it would fit in my 125 reef tank. Speaking of witch I'll show you pics as soon as my husband buys the wood
. Yes, we are still in the debating stage. He wants me to buy the tank first, so he can get the measurments just right, which makes sense, right. I'm just trying to figure if I want a glass or acrylic tank. :notsure: The price for a 125 reef ready glass tank is $500, and I called the Aquarium Arts place to get a price on an acrylic 125 reef ready tank but they said they would have to call me back, as they did not have one in stock nor the price list right there. Well, they didn't call back so I will try again in the morning. So far their glass tank is the least expensive I have found for a 125 gallon tank, but we'll have to see on the acrylic tank (I know it's more, just not sure how much more). With all that said, YES, I will take pics as soon as it's in my garage. It will just be an empty tank, but all you crazy marine fanatics will understand.
So, what about your tank, I want to see pics!!!! :jumping: You should have at least some live rock and sand in it by now, right?

I'll try to get a pic posted tonight when I get home. Yes, I do have live rock and sand in it. I also have several snails to work on the algae farm that my tank was starting to become!
