Best Saltwater Books

Good start is Robert Fenner's The Contientious Marine Aquarist. I got one at Marine Depot but there are probably other sources.

Can't tell you how glad I am that you are increasing your fish-keeping knowledge by reading books. It's the only way to stay afloat. During the past few months, I've purchased quite a few books. I have't found any to be a waste of money; they are all essential, in my opinion.
I will recommend the following: The Conscientious Marine Aquarist, The Saltwater Aquaruin Handbook, and definately The New Marine Aquarium published by MicroCosm. These books should and will guide you in the right direction.
Good Luck!

The Marine Aquaruim by ---- Mills Tetra Press this is my oldest and what I consider my bible for this hobby. It is still available I believe and I liked it so much I sent my son one for his tanks.

The Marine Aquarium Problem Solver by Nick Dakin. THE best book on everything you could want to know. From inverts to fish compatability to reefs. It even has testing and maintainence charts to follow. It covers it all. Highly recommended!! Also, anything by Julian Sprung is going to be good. HTH--Bob
