best scrapper

someone help me out here....
Ive got some of the non attractive green coraline algae growing on the back and side of my tank, its slowly turning colorful though. This does not bother me.
However, its beginning to spread along the sides of the front of my tank. Mag floats not doing it, and I have a algae pad scraper, but it doesnt work. Does anyone use those scrapers that look like they have a blade?
What is the best way to get coraline off glass??

I bought one because my mag only works on some algaes...it had a stainless steel blade and works great. It is the kent version, if there is any difference between them, and I am happy I spent the ten bucks or whatever it was.
