so I was testing my water today when I looked on the bottom of the testing solution, I saw that it expired 4 years ago!
So tomorrow I'm gonna go and get some fresh testing supplies
I'm gonna get:
nitrite nitrate ammonia pH alkalinity calcium and copper
which brand/models you guys recommend?

I don't recommend that you use only one brand kit. Mix and match the test kits you like...
I think try API, Seachem, and Salifert.
API is cheep, every day test that will give a general idea of the chemistry, quick testing. I would not buy the pH kit.
Seachem middle of the road for cost, good precision test but a little harder to use and takes longer for some tests.
Salifert more cost per test, better precision test but a little harder to use and takes longer for some tests.

I use API most of the time for nitrite, nitrate, ammonia, alkalinity, calcium.
I use a pH probe.
I have tried Seachem for copper but it is hard to read so you should try Salifert and let me know how you like it... :))):

I've never had accurate readings from API nitrate, trite, NH3, or ph - but I DO like their copper tk
I like the seachem for trite, trate, ph, alk
salifert for Calcium

I had grief with API test kits, so now it is only Seachem for me, and the tests are so easy and uses very little water and no test tubes. You add a dropper full of water to a white palet and a drop of test solution...and each test comes with a vial reference test so you can double check the test is correct. I had no trouble reading the color chart either. I purchased the multi kit for saltwater, and the Marine multi kit. $30.00 for each master kit. The magnesium kit was separate and costly $40.00, and there is no Calcium in either kit, so $23.00 for that separately..the rest are covered, even Iodine.
