At the lfs they have these clear plastic containers, you know the ones they hang on the side of the tank. You put that in your tank on its side and chase them into it with your net. That way nobody gets hurt, you or the fish. Good luck!

Nets can alter the fish's protective coating. This can leave the fish more susceptible to disease. I agree with Shel.

The prob is that I got over 100lbs of live rock. I really don't want to take any out it get the fish. As a very last resort, I will jest BLOW the tank up

To but the fish into the tank, you dump most of the water from the bag into something else other then your tank, then add a little of your water from the tank to the bag with the fish in it. The bag is sitting in your tank getting the temp the same, you keep adding a little of your water. Do this for 30-40 min. Then slowly dump the whole thing into your tank. :D
Jess, you will have to probally remove some lr. It is a @#*%$. It took us 3 hours to catch 2 tangs, and another 2.5 hours to try to put the lr back the way it was.
I have 150lb of lr. Good luck

What about snagging them when they are eating. Lure them out with food, sneak the net in underneath them and usher them into a plastic container, milk jugs (clean ofcourse) with the top third cut off work well. The net being behind them will snag them if they try to retreat back to the rock. Or you can use the cherry bomb method. ;)
