Best Way to Catch Fish for Hypo

What is the best way to catch fish to put them into hypo? I have 2 blue-green chromis and 2 false percs.

For smaller fish like that, I would suggest the bottle fish trap. It's really easy to make and I have had a lot of success with it.
At the widest part of the bottle, cut the top off. You should now have a cup and a funnel. Stick the funnel in the cup upside down. Bait the trap and try to put it somewhere you know the fish frequents. Then, just wait. The fish swim in, but usually can’t figure out how to get out.

I've used 20oz soda bottles and the larger Evian bottles... I've even heard of people using 2 liter bottles.

Do you have one for medium size fish? Flame angels.....

I've never had to catch a fish that size, but I think the bottle trap might still work... you would just have to cut the top of the funnel off to make the entrace a little bigger. It's worth a shot anyway...

So far my bottle trap has only caught my cleaner shrimp (not the one I wanted). My fish will go right up to it and even into the funnel but they won't go all the way in. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Just be patient... I've had it take up to a couple days to catch the fish.

Try 'The Trap' (about $30 on-line), it work. I even got the Damsels out.
same idea, but it has the door that you can close it once they enter the tunnel.

i will try the 2 liter idea
