best way to treat ich

My yellow tail damsel has ich and im not sure how to cure it. I know copper is the best way to kill it but i have inverts in the tank and that will kill them. I have been using garlic, or is there a better way to cure it?:help:

Hyposalinity is the best way but can not be performed with inverts in the tank.

Wait till Beth replies, she would know what to do better than me. I'll give you my opinion though, what I would do is place allt the fish in a QT tank or remove all inverts, LR etc. from the DT and perform Hypo.

Tome, unfortunately, the 2 ways that works for curing ich don't permit treatment in a tank with inverts or LR.
If you want to give one of the reef safe medictions a try, you can, but these do not always work, and the long term effects of dosing your display with these products are basically unknowns.

What is this Garlic that you buy? Do you buy it at a fish store or a normal store? And who makes it?

Fresh garlic from the grocery store. Mince in a container, retaining the juices. Then add the food. The key is in the fresh garlic juice.
