best will to kill aiptasia?

I heard Joe's Juice will take them out, but I don't have any at the moment. I also heard you can just shoot them with boiling water via turkey baster- will this work? I am noticing more and more of these suckas everyday. They need to go. My CB Shrimp stepped on one yesterday and got stung- he bolted out of there so fast....it was kind of funny as he is usually the bully of the tank. Anyway, thanks for the input in advance.

The best way besides Joe's juice is to use concentrated lemon juice. Use a syringe and squirt them in the middle. A word of caution

Only do about 5 at a time because the juice is highly acidic and using too much will affect your pH.

thanks for the reply....used boiling water and it seemed to work, the anenome shriveled up. they look dead, i guess i won't know for sure for a little while. will try the lemon juice if they come back.

I've tried lemon juice didn't seem to work for me that well but the Joe Juice did the best job for me.

i've always injected them w/ lemon juice, being as they have a water vascular system the acidity upsets the osmotic gradients and causes their cells to rupture, much the way as if you were to inject water into your cells
