I worked at a supermarket as a teenager. I hated having to work but loved having money so it was bittersweet.
It was terrible but I have so many memories of being a j/o and screwing off that made this job tolerable.

Well most of them had mange, aggressive, ferrel and so on. It was still hard though because I would build relationships with some of them while they were in stray hold. On my day off they actually called me in to euthanize a pit becauase no one could touch him. When he saw me he started wagging his tail. That was the worst part I think

As far as the jobs I've had, my current one at blockbuster is the worst. The customers make it a PITA.

i work in a call center at an undisclosed bank/

company. i hate every minute of it. homeowners calling in to yell at me for all the problems in their world because their interest only loan is about to mature and its alll my fault that they got themselves into it. i need to take 80-100 calls a day and talk to irate homeowners. every time i hit my phone on available a little piece of me dies inside. i know it is making me become a horrible person, when i sit down at my desk, i can actually feel my blood pressure raise as my stress increases.

man i would hate that. nothing makes me for mad other than getting yelled at for some thing that is their fault and i had nothing to do with.
i would probably get fired from that job.
my favorite line would be "hey, i don't know why your mad at me, no one made you get into this loan."

like, people buy a $500,000 interest only house loan when they work at burger king, then when 8 years go by and they need to start paying interest AND principle and their payment triples, then they call me and say its my fault that they got themselves into it.
my escrow payment raised $800 because of my taxes and homeowners insurance... why the hell did you raise my escrow payment? gee, i dunno, why dont you ask your tax collector and Allstate insurance?

i never could understand why someone would stay at a job they hate.
it makes them miserable and then bring that back home to the family.
i work decrative concrete for homeowners ,i meet all kinds of people always interesting.some good days some bad but after 20+ yrs i still wouldnt do anything else.
i am mostly outside and can take rain days off if i want to.
i am always at different locations so never get boring.
how the hell someone can sit in a cube and answer angry calls all day is beyond my understanding.
i would go postal

Sometimes you have no choice....Depending on your area, benefits needed, schedule with kids...etc...etc...Sometimes you have to do what you have to do

worst job I ever had was when I was 16 working as a bus boy in a busy bar/resturant type place- my last day was game 5 of NBA finals the Bulls and somebody, they sent home the other bus boy just as the game started and the place soon became packed- the bar wanted 3 new kegs from the back and those were such a pain to get, being the weight, and the floor in the kitchen were very slippery not to mention the bartenders never tip us out. I walked out didn't tell anyone and then went to a party
the next day I showed back up for my tips could you believe I din't get any
