Best Wrasse for a 47 Gallon (Tall) - (If Any)

My wife loves wrasses, and she loves colorful ones. If money was no object what wrasse would you get for a 47 gal.

what else do you have in the tank...i would stay away from the larger fairys but any of the smaller ones or flasher wrasses would be nice..i like the red velvet the most here is a couple pics of mine...i see them go from $70-$100

Hawaiian flame wrasse! Almost unanimously considered the most beautiful of all wrasse. However, they are expensive and aggressive. My personal favorite is the mystery wrasse, though I also like the red velvet wrasse. Both are easy to care for and peaceful.

Depending on the tank mates the 6-line wrasse is inexpensive, nicely colored and only about 2" long.

My tankmates are 2 clowns, 2 pajama cardinals, and 2 Purple firefish. 2 Emerald crabs, 4 Turbos, 8 Nass, 3 Margarita snail 6 Blue legged hermit,2 red legged hermit,3 Peppermint Shrimp, Some Zoas and a couple feather dusters, I would also like to add a dwarf angel @ some point down the road. My wife got turned on to the wrasses at a lfs that had a coris wrasse that looked like a neon sign. From what I read they like to turn over rock and hurt coral so that wouldn't be good. O'well I'm sure we will find a nice one soon.Thanks for all the help, I really like that leopard wrasse.
