Beth -
I stopped the KickIch. Started Hypo. My salinity is down to 1.010 or so. One question though. While i was in the process of lowering the salinity i had finals and what not where i was away from my house so i wasnt able to do water changes. I lowered the salinity down to what i have it at how in about two and a half days. Is that still ok? Im assuming it is becuase its still that low to where the parasite wont be able to survive...but, i just figured id ask and make sure. Also. how long till i should notice some results?

Yes, that is fine. But are you checking your pH? And what are you using to measure salinity? Hopefully some has been at home feeding your fish because fish in hypo generally need more feedings.

Yes, ive been checking the pH every other day, its been fine. Ive been feeding the fish multiple times a day. I measured the salinity with a plastic arm measurer and the meter that looks like a thermomenter that you drop in the water. I dont have the cash right now to go out and buy a refractometer. Ive been debating on taking a sample of my water to my LFS to have them measure the salinity as well, just to be safe.

Throw away the plastic swing arm...it is very inaccurate. Look at pH daily. It can drop fast, and kill fast too.
