hi here i am once again...beth i have a new yellow tang in my tank its been here for 4 days now today i saw that it has some big white spots all over his body .....what could that be?????maybe ick???whats good for that??i also have in my tank a blue devil damisel . a yellow goby and a spanish houg that ive seen some times picking on the yellow tang.....please help i dont want to loose it....

Josh, sounds like you didn’t quarantine, right? Yes, it does sound like ich. Do you have a hospital tank? Or, is your tank FO [meaning no live rock, inverts, corals, etc.]? If so, you can perform hyposalinity in your tank. If not, there is no choice but to set up a hospital tank and treat all your fish with hypo.

thanks unfortanetly i dont have a hospital tank and i do have feather dusters in my tank and sea stars....

Do you have live rock as well? If not, perhaps you can fine a temporary home for your inverts [LFS] and then perform hypo in your main tank.
Or, perhaps this is a good time to setup a hospital tank/QT??!
