Beth - I hope you can help me on this. I have posted a thread in the reef section titled Hawaian Feather Duster. Long story short - it's acting really weird the past 2 - 3 days and now the duster cap has fallen off. All other inverts / corals are doing GREAT!!! Can you please read and respond if you have any idea's.
Thanks

:happyfish Hi, jhensen. I'm not beth either, but with feather dusters, they do that sometimes. It will usually grow back. The usual problem why this happens is that it is bugged by something, or it was moved, or whatever. Sometimes though it just croaks for no reason. They call the event a feather duster blowin it's cap. I've found that if you put sand by the tube base, that it speeds up the growing of the cap, because they need the sand to grow it back. Good luck with your feather duster, ali

Hi, Jhenson, ailson and Yellow are correct, so lets hope that that is the answer.
Also, unfortunately my disease knowledge is kinda limited to fish. I am trying to learn a bit about corals, and I actually successfully treated my toadstool at one point, but I definately don't know much about invert diseases.
