Well a couple days ago i noticed what looked like blackhead pimples on the first stripe of my maroon clown. Then friday he wouldn't even come out from behind the rocks. Saturday i looked at him he was swimming around happy as every, but he had like 2 white spots now on the front yellow stripe along with a few more black ones (they all look like blackheads). Water par. are good, amm. 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0, ph is about 8.2, salinity 1.023. I have a refractometer on the way so i am going to start hypo when it gets here.
My main question is do i need to take the two green chromis out of the tank or did i catch it in time, were the parasites didn't have time to reproduce?
Can I do hypo on my sohal and lw blenny again after they just got done?
I also have formalin and with the black spots hypo won't help right?
So what should i do wait a couple days or pull him out now and get him in with the sohal and lw blenny? what about the chromis?
The QT parameters are the same as the main tank, all 0, ph 8.2-8.3, salinity 1.023.
Oh and also at one point it had a long stringy type thing hanging off of him kinda like hair algae but white about 1 inch long.
Thanks in advance you are a big help,
Kyle

and also his eyes are a little cloudy, could it be any kind of bacterial infection or fungus?

How did ich get back into your display? All fish will need to be hypo-ed. And fish with black ich symptoms will need to have formalin bathes.

would you recommend me just watch it for a few days, awhile back i put a fish in without qt and thats probably what happened it has been about 3-4wks ago. why would the black marks be in the skin, more than on the skin, could it be a bac. infection or fungus
