Beware of the peaceful Chromis!

The so called peaceful reef safe Chromis is not so peaceful and reef safe. Being a pig at feeding time was always just a bit anoying. I recently decided I'd get my water back to pristine and try a few corals. I was in for a disappointment when my new Zenia quickly deteriorated and was gone. Also added a Pajama Cardinal that my wife fell in love with. The Chromis kept him in a top corner and would not allow him to eat. What the heck, they will learn to get along and everything else seems good. I tried another Zenia and saw the little rat nip at that one. Nipping off one polyp at a time. Siphoned a few gallons out into buckets to hold the corals, pulled out all but a couple live rocks and scoope the bugger out. My Zenia is now happy, a little lop-sided, and the Cardinal is free to swim about and eat as he pleases.
