bi-color angel has 3rd color

my bi-color angelfish has a small white spot on its dorsal fin.
its about the size of a pin head (lg.grain of sand).
fish seem healthy on ICH eating well.
what could it be???

looking at other info and now i ? if this could be ICH.
some say it can start like this... its not the classic salt like crystals on the bodt like im used to seeing:thinking:

if you can then post a picture. I tihnk it is ich. You might wanna read the stickys by beth on how to set up a qt tank.

It could be a parasite. It could be lymph. How long have you had this fish?

had it over 3 weeks...
lymph? like in people?
its on the top of its dorsal fin, midback.
no point in photo, as its like a small bit of bright white lint.
fish seems to be doing well.
its in a tank with only one other fish (gramma). and LR/LS.
i have my QT ready for dlivery thursday of a butterfly fish.

Do a search here in the Disease Forum using the Search Feature at the top of the page. Type in Lymphocystis and lymph. You should get many pics that you can view to see if this may be your problem as well. If this is the problem then no meds needed. Improved nutrition and fish care is the treatment.

took it out of 40hex
and now in 72
it seems happy
eating well, picking at rock etc.
my 72 has
1-sailfin tang (soon to go) 4
1-royal gramma 2
1-flame angel 2
1-bi-color angel 3
4-gren chromis 4
1-butterfly (threadfin) 4
19" of fish
am i pushing the limit?:notsure:

I would say that you are. Time for a bigger tank. :D My tank is at its limit as well. Time for a 350! LOL

love to do a FOWLR all florida fish.
