Hey,
I have never heard of being able to retrain a fish. Once they figure out it tastes good, that's it. Even if you keep it well fed on other stuff it will still graze. If you really want to keep the fish maybe you can try moving the coral? Just an idea as I have no practicle experience to share...

Thx FlyDan for your response. I’ve tried placing the brain coral in another area of the tank and he still picks on it. The brain coral started to look pretty chewed up so I took the bi-color out and put him in the sump of my tank for a few days. I was hoping that by placing him in solitary confinement and feeding him flakes that he would change…..What do u think??

I agree wuth Dan. If the angel figured out that the coral taste good the first time, he'll surely try eat it again. I don't think putting him in solitary confinement is going to help.

From everything I have read and heard he will never change his taste, sorry but I think he will have to go back. Good Luck
