Bi-color Blenny

I just introduced a bi-color blenny to my 55 gallon tank last night around 7:30-8:00.
Other fish in tank include: Yellow Tang, Tomato Clown, Keyhole Angel, 2 blue damsels, and purple dottyback, also have hermit crabs and an emerald crab.
The Blenny is not coming out of his hiding place very often. Should I be concerned if he doesn't come out and swim around? Should I move all the rock around to create new territories? Thanks!

It will take a little time for him to adjust but mine swims around with big fish including a powder blue and red sea sailfin a big bicolored anthias. Moving the rock will stir things up and maybe make the fish less aggresive towards him because there going to try and find a new home. Certain types of dottybacks can be very aggresive towards fish and a bicolor probab;y looks kinda similiar. Good luck i love mine he is a cool fish. :happyfish

My bicolor blenny does the same thing. My coral beauty angel is the king of the tank and for some reason it will hide when the angel comes near. But at feeding time it is out and about eating anything and everything I feed. They love to hide in the rocks and crevices so I would not move your rock around as they can get into the smallest places to hide.
They can be quite bold and stand up to alot of other fish so I would not worry about it at this point. They are so cute and fun to watch.

Our's is out quite a bit during the day. Most of the time you can see it's head and our's will swim around the tank and perch on the rocks. None of the other fish in the tank with it bother it (Chalk Basslet, Hawian Spotted Puffer, Yellow Tail Damsel). It actually will attack the other fish if they come to close to "it's" barnacles. Give it a couple weeks to adjust and it will hopefully come out more.

Mne has his favorite perching spots. He really only swims when he is hungry. He kills me in the places that he goes due to his body structure. He used to go in a hole in toof of my cave and all you coould see was his head poking out. He has outgrown the hole and now his sleeping spot is on top of the seio power head.

He will come out more as soon as he feels comfortable and safe-he will find a safe hiding spot and go there when he feels scared. They are very bold once they become established!
Very cute to watch.
