big bristleworm I think

I got a little carried away feeding tonight, which I am usually careful not to do. Well, there was a little excess food floating around after lights out and I went to look at the crabs cleaning up. I was shocked to see a worm that was at least 6 inches long(6in exposed and more behind a rock) and a 1/4 in in diameter. He was stetched out at the time. He had small spikes or bristles on him and was completely pale pink in color. I think he is a bristle worm, but he looked a little different then the many small 1/2-1 inch worms that I have. I knew of a big worm with no bristles that I had in my tank but this was a surprise. I then proceded to see 3 more of the same type, only a little smaller. I tied to grab him with some tongs, but he is a quick little sucker. Next time I'll be quicker. I guess all it took was a little extra food to get him out of the rocks! Just had to share this.

when i broke one of my tanks down to move into a larger tank, i found, and im not kidding, a footlong, by 1/2 inch wide friggin bristle worm. I caught him and put him in a vial with alcohol to preserve him because i have never seen one so big. ITs gross, but cool at the same time!

If he's not doing any damage, just leave him. I bet he's helping to keep a lot cleaned up that you're not aware of. Lucky.
