Drain the water into clean 5 gal buckets. Put the fish in one and your substrate in another. Move everything and when you get to your new place, put an air stone in the fish bucket to give them some air while you set everything back up. Keep them in the dark and that will reduce the stress. When you get them in your tank after the sediment has settled, don't feed them at first until they calm down from the move. This slows their metabolism down and increases their survival rate.
