I HAVE RED BACTERIA GROWING IN MY TANK.
WHAT DO I DO???????????:help:

i have been told to do nothing.
hold on with no chnages, add no chemicals (redox +).
just feed every other day.
and it should clear in few weeks.

i would have to say false. the red algae is annoying, i had a problem with it for a while until i bought this stuff made by red sea called red slime remover, it doesnt harm anythign in your tank and after you use it all the algae falls to the bottom and once you vacum, it doesnt return.

I used Chemiclean by Boyd Enterprises,Inc. I had to use 2 doses but it hasn't been back since. that was 2 months ago.
