BIO-ACTIV ARAGONITE-sand vs live sand

BIO-ACTIV ARAGONITE is it as good as real live sand, better or worse?

the bio active aragonite contains the bacteria to process the break down of waste in the system. live sand is the bacteria but has the extra help of critters. both serve the same purpose but with the ls you will end up with more diversity of life in the tank

That depends on where you are getting the sand from. The stuff n the Bag is cool. But you dont want the stuff str8 out the ocean. some people will go to the beach and get sand off the ocean floor..that is a no no. There is stuff in there that will wipe your tank out. The stuff they sell on ths site is good. Both types. What s your pockets looking like. You get what you pay for. Bio is great..........but if I had the money to get the live sand I would.............It will help promote a healthy tank!
