bio-filters

i was curious if there were any suggestions on a good bio-filter. i have looked at a whisper w/triad system and ive looked at a penguin bio-wheel. its for my 10 gal. qt tank.
any comments and suggestions are welcome.

I have heard good things about the Penguin Biowheels for smaller tanks but don't have any personal experience with them.

I use a penquin mini for my qt. seems to work ok.

I use 2 Emperor 400's and they have been superb in my tank so far. Quiet, effective and affordable.
