I recently read a thread on removing the Bio-Wheel from the Emperor filter, but they didn't say why. Should I use the wheel or not, maybe it's part of my cyano problem ??? Helipilot ?? :notsure:
I have two Emperor filters in my 75 gallon tank and have only ever removed the bio wheel to rinse it with water. I don't know why you would want to remove it unless it were damaged.
