Biocube halide mod in stock hood

Well I saw alot of people have biocubes on here. I also saw questions on upgraded lighting. I did a halide mod to my biocube a while back. I don't have the tank anymore but figured it might help. I had to mod the hood because the wife isn't into the moded look. She wanted everything to look stock from the outside. At the time I did this nobody offered anything for halide mods. I had posted this on another forum when I did it. It was funny when I went to the nanotuners booth at MACNA the owner knew who I was. they also had a video playing of there new biocube mod and it was very similar to what I did just a little more profesional LOL.
Anyway, I removed the moonlights from between the PC's and moved them to the back. I then purchased a 70w metal halide retrofit kit and a ushio 14k bulb. I had to remove some of the standoffs for the LED's. I then cut a slot out from the two outer led holes in the reflector so the socket would slide through. I mounted a small piece of metal over the empty center hole to act as a heat shield. and rivited everything together. I fed the power cord through a rubber gromet and outside the hood to a remote ballast. I then removed the stock 60mm fans and installed two 8Omm fans in there place. This also took some removing of plastic. After this was done. I installed the reflector back with the halide socket attached being carefull to route wiring away from the halide area. After this was done I removed a large section of plastic under the halide on the lense. I installed a piece of glass using silicone knowing the radient heat would be way too much for the plastic. I also used the UV shield from the kit over the bulb. here is a pic
