hey guys! i need help with my 29 gallon biocube.
current condtions
font of tank

- 29 lb live rock
- 30 lb live sand
- 200 watt heater
- odysea 250 power head
- common clown fish
back of tank

- first chamber 3 lb live rock rubble
- second chamber CPR SR4 protein skimmer for biocube
- third chamber 1 lb live rock, a sponge and the original power head
it seems the water flow is too high creating little particles flying around in the tank from third chamber. the clown fish is having some trouble with the water flow to i turned off front power head but still lots of flow! any suggestions?

I suggest you use the hydro koralia nano pump or the koralia 1 pump instead of the odysea... the koralia disperses the water flow evenly throughout the tank, so there aren't any spots with too much flow.
Keep your heater, so that you can prevent temperature fluctuations.
i posted the same thing in your other thread.

I got a black one that suction cups to the back wall in the display area. It blends in pretty well.

You can also try to put it in the second chamber if it doesn't fit in the first chamber. The second chamber is bigger than the fist chamber.

Does the Odysea have any adjustments? How do you have it setup in the tank? Got any photos?
You can add a HydorFlo to the stock pump output. It's cheap at around $20 or less and works great. I've had one in my biocube for quite some time now. I love it.
Or you could try a SCWD wavemaker. Rather then replacing what you already have. Both are easy to attach and don't need any additional power input. The SCWD is a bit more expensive then the HydorFlo.

I'd keep the heater. The lights do a good job of heating the tank but you don't want any temp changes over 2 degrees or it can start stressing out your live stock.
I've got the 100w Visi-Therm Stealth in my first chamber. I cut a small hole through the first false floor to accommodate it. It fits fine and doesn't affect the flow. It would have fit long ways (horizontally) in the bottom of the second chamber if it weren't for the adjustment knob. I had it on the display tank for a while, and it did disappear pretty good, but I prefer it in the back. You'll just have to see where your's fits best. But keep it for sure.
