Biocube protein skimmer

Anyone have any experience with the biocube protein skimmer? I recently bought one and have had troubles with setting the level to which the bubbles are suppose to reach in the top compartment. Thanks for the help

I just set mine up and took the valve out of the airling immediatly. The bubbles are just getting to the top of the reeaction chamber. Did you have any luck with yours? I'm just starting with saltwater so I have nothing to gauge how well my skimmer is working. (Or not working.)

My biocube skimmer is ok. I have the air valve set to right in the middle of loose and tight, and that gives me the best amount of bubbles. You need to keep the water level fairly consistant for it to work, and the collection is cup is a bit small. Daily/twice daily I find myself emptying it, but it usually runs a bit wetter than most people do

Thanks! I figured I'd need to pay plenty of attention to this little guy, but the price was right! Have you needed to change out the airstone yet?
