Can you use that Protein Skimmer on other tanks? Its everywhere at the LFS while I just want a smaller skimmer for my 10 gallon reef. LFS has a 200 gallon skimmer or the biocube so I am wondering if I can use it in my 10.

The BioCube Protein Skimmer is a piece of garbage. Don't waste your money. I run my 14G without a skimmer and it's a heavily fed tank, just keep on top of water changes and you'll be fine.
