Biofilter for my Nano - help

Hi, I have a 13g nano which has been running for 10 months now and Ive realized that the CC and undergravel filter is playing havock with my filtration. (and after strong reccomendations from SWF members to get rid of them). I also have another internal sponge filter. Can you please advise what the best method for removing the CC is, should I do it over a period of time or can I just remove the CC and the undergravel filter at the same time and replace it with LS? I also have about 6kg of LR, no fish, 2 turbo snails and a couple of corals.
Still learning...

get rid of the undergravel filters, they are made for the large gravel used in freshwater and they get clogged and are rendered ineffective by sand. I would get the UGF out and put in a Crushed Coral Live Sand mix with the CC on the bottem and the LS put in on top of it.
