birdsnest leather

I have had a couple birdnest leather corals in my 2 yr old tank now for about a month. One of them keeps turning blue and shrinking down for a couple hours. after it gets down doing that it is back tall and kinda pinkinsh color Is this common and wny does it do that? Should I worry abou it? Please let me know thanks

i have a birdsnest coral but mine is a sps not a leather, what do u mean by this.

leathers do shed but i have never heard of a bird nest leather...hth

birdnest is a LPS or SPS, is it a leahter you have or is it a hard coral?
