That is sooooo cool!!! Did they show signs of splitting? I have never witnessed this so I am obviously very curious. Tell us everything. Start from the top. LOL!!

Flydan----make that proud MAMA........ :D
This new anemone is an exact replica of the original. She is a Rose Bubble Tip, with an oral disk approx. 3" across!
I am convinced now I need a web cam, with infra red light for night viewing! Who knows when this happened, but I am one of those that spends a couple hours a day viewing my tank. So unless this new gal was completely hidden from view and just now came out it had to have happened overnight.
I bought the original from Dr. Mac and Sons, so it is farm raised and that makes me even happier. In this hobby with all the concern (especially about anemones and rightfully so) about our natural reefs and animals, I am happy to report that you do not have to rip these beautiful creatures out of their natual habitat. Grow and propagate them in your own tank! Since they are raised in captivity they are hardier and better acclimated to our "box" conditions.
I am thrilled that this happened. It is for me what this hobby is all about. And validation that all my hard work (labor of love) has a pay off, not just for me but for the creatures I love.

congrads......good work keepin 'em happy ...........shows what a lil concern and care will do for our sw friends....... ;) :D ;)

BTW, to answer above question, I do have a clarkii clownfish that lives in a larger BT on the other side of the reef. But he feeds all the anemones. He is going to be even busier now keeping everyone happy! :D He is "Gramps" in the tank. I inherited him from a friend's tank, who had had him for 4 years. I have had him now for seven years! Who knows hold old he really is, as I'm sure he was wild caught.
