why does my clown turn around and fan the sand like its making a nest? :notsure:

Maroon's do that, even when solo in a tank. Thats her home now and she wants to keep the floor clean.

Mine does the same. Makes a mess, but she is happy. It is pretty funny to watch.

:cheer: My female (Rosebud kids named her) and her boyfriend (doesn’t have a name) both dust the sand. It drives my boyfriend nuts, because the sand covers everything. He put some flat rocks down where they have been dusting. This worked great they can fan their little tails without making a mess. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

thanks for the replies, i thought it might be making a nest. as much as i would like that,i dont think her tank mates would.
