Bizzare and sad Christmas story

My oldest son is home from college on Christmas break and he wanted to go out and buy some gifts for the family. I hadn't seen him for a few weeks so we went out together yesterday to spend some time together. He picked up some presents for his younger brothers and after we stopped for lunch, he wanted to get some cards. I took him to a Hallmark store and he went in while I waited in the car. While he's picking out cards, he gets the sense someone is watching him. This goes on for about 10 minutes and he happens to notice a middle aged lady staring at him from another aisle. He just figures she's weird so doesn't pay much attention to her, but she kind of follows him around the store, looking at him the whole time. He finally asked her if she knew him, and told her he knew she had been watching him. She apologized and told him that he looked like her own son, who had been killed in a car accident last year at this time. She then started crying. My son told her he was sorry about her boy and that he hoped she would be okay. so he goes to check out and the woman continues to follow him (this is where it really get's weird). As my son goes to leave the store, the lady walks up to him from behind and asks if he'll say "Merry Christmas, mom". He politely told her he didn't feel comfortable doing that and then started walking towards the car. This lady runs up to him and literally drops on the ground and starts pulling his leg.
Just like I'm doing to you right now.
