Black Algae Taking Over

I've got this black algae in my tank, atleast thats what i been told it was. It doesn't get on the glass to much or the fiji rock. Most of it is on the bottom in my crushed coral and crushed shells. I've tried to syphon it out and was back like the next day. Is there anything i can do to get rid of it?

It sounds to me as if it is not an algae problem but cyanobacteria.
If it is reddish black and has strands emanating from it it is definately cyano.
I've tried alot of different methods of eliminating it but found that Chemiclean Red Slime Remover works the best.
