Black Cloud Around Zoa

So there is this black cloud looking thing hanging out with my zoas. I am not sure if it is covering a polyp or if it is inbetween them
Anybody know what it is?

Is it a cloud looking thing-by cloud you mean puffy and broken shaped?-or do you mean a black, bulbous and shiny-smooth looking thing?

what does it mean if it looked like either of those

I don't know for sure but I think it is in the sea squirt family. harmless. I have lots of them here and there in between my zoas and have never done anything but grow. The zoas out grow them and have never seem affected by them. Seem to live in harmony.
