Is this a good price for one black true percula?
Also the thing looks just like a true percula including the orange, they said it will turn black as he gets older, is this true?

Thats what I was thinking. I dont even know if there is such thing as a TRUE BLACK percula, I've been searching the last few minutes with only finding BLACK's being Ocellaris only. Can anyone confirm this?

There are such fish as B&W Ocellaris Clownfish. There are Oynx Clowns as well and if I'm correct (if not, clarify for me/us), they're a True Percula Clownfish variation. Onyx Clowns have orange faces with black body.

one of my LFS is selling his blacks for $50 and is stengy on working out deals...i have seen them cheaper and believe it or not i seen some at ***** (although everyone says dont buy from there) for 15.99 and i think if you have a QT setup you can treat it giving that it is healthy enough to survive....i got 2 maroons from there a few months ago and they are doing great

There is a black version and they are expensive. In the past few months these have become very rare. $60.00 for one is not that bad. They are Ocellaris though not true percs. Inland Aquatics has them. I am not sure of their current price. Also ORA sells them, but not to hobbists. I recently saw them for $80.00 each at a LFS where they were previously $40.00. I am looking for another pair, but I am not willing to pay that. Also I have 2 other LFS and they can not even get their hands on a pair for me. You can wit it out to see if the price drops, but under the current market conditions $60.00 is not bad. I'll tell you that they look amazing in an aquarium. I as well as everyone that sees them loves them. Hope this helps.

I live in New York State. The Buffalo area. They are about 40-45 normally. The past few months they shot way up because they have become very hard to get. Over the next few months I hope they come down because I want another pair. ONly time will tell. I pay 90.00 for the pair I have now. If you can get them for 30.00 I would hold off then. I was just going but my market. I breed clowns and I am looking to raise them becuase I will be getting 20-25 each for these fish up here.
