black false percula???

ok, my mom and i were at the lfs the other day, (she came to visit me at college an hour from home to buy a coral) and i was looking at the fish, clownfish in particular, to see what they had. then i saw them. a beautiful pair of what the lfs said were 'black false perculas'. love at first sight! i don't have a big enough tank (or wallet) for a mated pair, as these were $99, but i'd love to find a single black false perc. they also had a true black perc, the difference being the false ones had orange noses and the true a yellow nose. i was told though by someone in another message board that they couldn't be false percs, but i've decided now that that's what i want in my tank (a regular false perc from my mom is my second option). any opinions??

What they call "true black percs" aren't actually even perculas. They're a black variation of the polymnus clowns, Amphiprion polymnus.
The black false percs are probably exactly what they say they are. They carry them here and are in stock. These are labeled as perculas, but they are actually false perculas, aka Amphiprion ocellaris
