Black Ick problem

Im fairly positive that my yellow tang has balck ick. I know this kind is not as bad as the white kind and i was wondering if i can just let it run its course? Will it ever go away by itself if i let it go? Will it eventually be fatal to my fish? They all seem to be doing well now. If it will eventually be fatal, are there any treatments i can do without emptying the fish from the tank? And lastly, are eels susceptibel to ick? If i do have to remove the fish should the eel leave also? Thank you very much

Thanks Terry B, I am somewhat new to the hobby and do not know anything about formalin dips other than what i have read. Is this the only treatment. How exactly would i go about doing this. Do i remove all the fish from the tank first and then do them one by one or what. If you could give me detailed description of the process or somewhere i can read about it ide be greatful. THank you again.

do you have any cleaner shrimp or cleaner wrasses if you dont i recommend picking up sum because they often clean my yellow tang and i had white ick which killed my sailfin and coral beauty dwarf angel but my yellow tang survived ebcause he let the shrimp and wrasse clean him frequently. they are a big help plus they dotn get sick well the wrasse does btu not the shrimp.

I also have a yellow tang with a slight case of black ick. I tried a freshwater dip with some success, the black spots disappeared for a few days but is back. I'm also attempting to treat with garlic as well as continuing the freshwater dips. There are also two cleaner shrimp in the tank to help out.
Is there any other natural ways I could attempt here? I'm not very big into chemicals unless I absolutely have to. The selection of treatments here at the local stores is not very good so any other suggestions would be appreciated
